I'm in digital publications again, although Stuart's not here today. I'm working on my website/portfolio as I finished my invitations last week. We had our art show yesterday at Sunbury, it was awesome. We had every visual art student show off their artwork and the performing arts students did a short performance. I didn't quite understand it although it was really good. I got 2nd prize for my artwork, I was wrapped.. Anyway better get a move on with my work.. 

I'm in digital publications this morning still working on my invite, trying to make it more complex and visually appealing as at the moment it's a little bit boring. I'm trying to put pictures on it although I'm having difficulties trying to print it once I get home as half the images black out. Once I have a finished design I'll try to print it in the library. Anyway better get a move on...

I'm in digital publications again this morning and for the assessments I'm going to create my 21st birthday invitation and for the website I'm thinking of creating a website all about me and put my artwork up on it.. I dunno how that'll go but I'll try it.. My birthday parties going to be in June so I need to hurry and finish creating it so I can actually send them out.. Better get started...

Okay, so for today's digital publications class we have to create a website containing recipes, ingredients, cooking sites etc. Only problem is I have no idea how to cook or even a basic idea of what goes into dishes so I've got to go google some stuff..

My 21st

I'm freaking out a bit because my birthday's coming up in May and it's my 21st so I need to organise something but I'm not really sure what to do.. I'm thinking about having a bbq and going out but my mum wants caterers and it's turning into this big thing and I'm quite paranoid about it because I don't have that many friends so I didn't want anything to big.. Anyway still got a lot to figure out, better do something about it I suppose, until next time bye..

I've been trying to install Creative Suite 2 on my computer however it kept telling me I had the wrong serial number. Since I got the program from my placement school PVGC and the serial number was written on it I didn't know what to do. I looked up a heap of serial numbers and none of them worked and after speaking with my boyfriend I discovered he already had the program so I wasted a day trying to install it when he already had it. Now I've just got to figure out how to use it so that I can come up with some designs for a feature wall at Dorothy Impey Home, a nursing home in Pascoe Vale. I'm off to go play with photoshop...

I'm in digital publications at the moment, kind of getting things today though.. I dont know what to do for my project, I'm thinking a picture book about my life? I'm not sure so I'm gonna go try play with in design some more..

Im currently at my placement school PVGC and had some free time so thought I'd say hello to anyone who reads my blog. Today I've been to three classes, visual art, drama and now Im in a year 8 advanced maths class. I actually met some students today and found out that being placed in a secondary school is not as scary as I thought it would be. Who knew I'd actually enjoy myself... Even I'm shocked, considering how paranoid I was about doing a secondary placement. Anyway six mins to the bell so better go help my teacher.. Cya

Although I'm not quite sure what to write I'm going to try anyway. I've had two digital publications classes now and I'm still not quite sure if a blogs like a diary and you put everything on it or if you only put important things. I must say I've never really taken much notice of blogs before and I don't really know what they are. So I'm going to use the blog to write about over coming my stupidity when it comes to using MAC computers, and programs such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver as I've never really done much computer art and when I've attempted it, lets just say it wasn't good. I really want to learn how to use these programs as I would like to post some photos of my art work, and make my blog a bit more attractive. Anyway I'm off to work, again..
